The Degradation Cycle
Contamination in any operating system CANNOT be eliminated!
As an example; Hydraulic Systems use oil to transfer energy. An electric motor powers a hydraulic pump which creates flow. Under pressure the oil acts like liquid sandpaper, generating more contamination, which generates more contamination, until an eventual Break-Down occurs. This cycle of destruction and eventual failure is known as DEGRADATION.
We cannot eliminate contamination from a hydraulic system or any oil in use for that matter.
Our products and our efforts are to reduce and to control contamination, to impede and to control the DEGRADATION CYCLE. By reducing contamination we can extend the life of an oil and in turn we have a little more control over down-time.
At Y2K we will never promise to eliminate contamination, we can't even guarantee you a life-time without breakdowns, but we can assure you that our systems will help you to reduce contamination and to get control of the cycle of destruction, Degradation.
